Magic Show + Ryzza Mae = Pure FUN!

Imagine an afternoon of acrobatic feats, magic acts and Ryzza Mae, and what you got is plain pure unadulterated kiddie fun!

Being invited by Wazzup Pilipinas - Ross Del Rosario and LifeisKulayful-Kathy Kenny Ngo, to join them in that event was a treat!  It  was being a kid once more. At age of 39, it was a throwback experience worth having.

Loomband, Magic Show with Ryzza Mae was an event held at the Grand Ballroom of the Solaire Resort in Paranaque last July 12.  The whole event had table booths for those into the loomband craze, chic accesories and face painting; things for the kids and adults too.  People were also treated to a cool and refreshing treat from one of the shows sponsor which was Mogu-mogu. You can enjoy their various cool flavors as you watch the show.  The whole show was in fact for the benefit of abused children; a fund raiser and community awareness drive.

At 4pm, the ballroom was opened and the magic began.

Opening the show with a sone number was Faith Cuneta.  She was then joined onstage by Aling Dora.  The first act: an acrobatic stint from a chubby funny guy.  He may be chubby but man can he do his stints!  It was funny, kid friendly in entertainment- with announcement of kids not to do some of the acts at home and interactive!  He had the audience join him in some of his acts and really did his number well to raise the energy of the house.

Next were some games with prizes coming from the shows sponsors.

Cha-cha time
Then its Ryzza Mae in the house!  No wonder, people adored her for she is indeed one bouncing kid of cuteness and energy!  This child wonder, discovered by GMA - Eat Bulaga, rocked the house with her wit and cute dance moves.  Did she do her dance trademark?  She sure did!  It was cha-cha time!  People were up from their chairs to take photos and videos of this cute and energetic girl as she was onstage.

The not so kiddie act
I did say that there was a magic show with it and it was given by no other than Rico the Magician.  To those who doesn't him, he really made his mark when he joined ABS-CBN's Pinoy's Got Talent, a couple of years back.  I have to give him applause in terms of showmanship and act sequence.  It was smooth and really showed his mastery of his craft.  The only thing that I am not a fan of in his act was the floating-to be speared sequence.  I know he is good but there were kids.  Just my take on it.

Unfortunately, I have to leave early due to a prior commitment but as a whole, it was one enjoyable afternoon.  Full of fun, laughter and treats for all ages, especially the kids.  Kudos to Solaire for hosting this type of event!
