AMBER TRAIL WATER PARK, A Place of Simple Water Fun Minus the Sand

Looking for a place that has water fun and activities and is good for your family or team building?  In Mexico, Pampanga is a place that is just right for you.  Capable of housing up to near a hundred guest (comfortably) in the pool area and with villas for families, then this place is the answer to your water fun needs.  Welcome to Amber Trail Water Park!

Located in San Pablo, Mexico, Pampanga (along the main road), this is just a 15 minutes ride away from SM San Fernando Pampanga.  What will greet you upon arrival is a fountain leading to a path way wide enough for a coaster to pass. Then there is an arc designed with turrets welcoming you.  The interior design is a mix of jungle and prehistoric theme - very kiddie themed.  Equipped with 2 giant slides, a water basket ball court and a water volleyball court and 5 pools defining those activity areas mentioned, you are definitely going to find ways to let the time pass by.

Though, it is not advised to rough play in the area, you can your company can still do a jump shot or the so called water entry splash shot (Remember the ice tea commercial during the late 90’s? That is the water entry splash that I am talking about).  The pool is not that deep so you have nothing to fear of being totally submerged in water.  Deepest point is around 6ft and that is at the mouth of the slide.  The whole place is picture perfect so to speak.  If you know how to angle and pose then you will definitely have a perfect picture in your phone.  Make sure to get shots by the elephant, it is a very modelish spot – TRUST ME.

Outside the pool are villa units that you can use.   Each villa has a different façade design that you would find appealing no matter what get’s assigned to you.  It has a sala area, housing a TV set and comfy chairs and a common restroom and on the 2nd level are two rooms that you can use – both fitted with an air conditioner unit.  One of the room leads to a small balcony where you can see part of the pool area.  Though a little bit old in terms of design and built, the units are still sturdy and functional.

For those with a brave streak in them, then you have to try the slide, with or without the floaters aka salbabida.  The slides are designed like a big python that you will exit at the mouth. There are two slides, one at around 30 – 35 meters long and another at around 25 meters.  Both angled in such a way to give you that rush when you plunge into the pool.  Regardless of age, it is best to have someone at the end to ensure that the person sliding is pulled out of the slide’s mouth for safety reason.

You can even bring in your own food for your own convenience.  Tables and chairs are available for you to use.  Is the place secure enough to leave your things unattended?  Like any public place, I would say, try to keep your valuables in a safe area but as a whole, you can leave it unattended if the place is not packed.

As a whole, this is a place of simple fun and relaxation under the sun minus the beach.
